Tower of Strength Academy is a premier security guard training institution based in Columbia, Louisiana, proudly serving individuals across the entire state. Certified by the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners, our academy provides the mandatory training required to become a licensed security guard in Louisiana.

At TOSA, our mission is to provide top-tier, state-certified training that equips individuals across Louisiana with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel as professional security guards. We are committed to developing prepared, disciplined, and responsible defenders who uphold the highest standards of safety and service in their communities.
WHO WE ARE
TOSA was established in 2025 with a mission to raise the standard of security guard training in Louisiana. Backed by over 30 years of law enforcement experience, our academy is led by founder and owner Cleve Grant, whose deep commitment to public safety drives everything we do.
We focus on delivering high-quality instruction in areas such as legal authority, emergency response, conflict management, and situational awareness. At Tower of Strength, we don’t just meet the state’s standards — we exceed them, ensuring our graduates are confident, competent, and ready to protect with integrity and strength.
SIXTEEN HOURS
Tower of Strength Academy offers a focused 2-day training program, with 8 hours of instruction each day. This state-approved course meets the requirements set by the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners and is designed to fully prepare you for a career in private security in just two days.
COMPLIANCE CERTIFIED
TOSA is legally recognized, ensuring graduates are fully qualified and authorized to work as security guards in Louisiana. All instructors are LSBPSE-certified, and our program fulfills the mandatory 16-hour training required by Louisiana law.

He's trained through real-world situations, not just textbooks, and holds every student to the same high standards he lived by in the field.
